...THE ACTOR
;0) ...I probably began acting IN THE WOMB! Certainly that is not to insist that I am this "phenomenal actor", but instead how performing and entertaining people has always been very easy, fun, and natural for me. I think my first "roles" came early--just copying lines from movies in my living room for my family to hear. "WILL YOU SIT DOWN AND STOP SAYING THE MOVIE LINES SO WE CAN WATCH IT IN PEACE!"....hahahaha...I can still hear my mom saying those words ;0). Nonetheless, I loved acting at an early age and began to take every opportunity to do it. I loved ANY drama/theatre-style classes at school. English, Writing, and Speech classes were also favorites of mine as they often involved a bit of acting. Once I began college at U of L, my first choice for a major was Theatre Arts, which I thoroughly enjoyed for 2 years before being "frightened" out of the idea due to counselors suggesting that my chances of making a living as an actor were slim at best-- no matter how talented an actor may be. I participated in a few plays and small productions in college, but got my first big television break after being cast in "King of the Jungle" on Animal Planet/Discovery in 2004. After that, I enjoyed doing a few television commercials for different products and services. Probably the most enjoyable role to date has been my run as "Vinny" in a community church theatre production called "Kidway", which is in its 4th season. My latest and most notable acting "notch in my belt" (although a VERY SMALL role) was my participation in the new Disney film, "Secretariat" (2009). (You can see photos from when I was on the set in my photo gallery). My goal now is to secure a major role in either a television series or sitcom, or land a role in a major motion picture.
