"TOP 40" AND MORE AT THE AMTC!

Posted at 10:19 AM on January 10, 2010

Today was the day that agents who want to speak with you after seeing you perform all week, will inform you. You get an envelope that tells you if any agent or company has any interest in you. These are called "Call Backs". I GOT ELEVEN CALLBACKS!!! Tyler Perry Studios, VH1, and Twentieth Century Fox just to name a few! I still have to meet with these agents, so my work is not done. But to GOD BE THE GLORY...doors that he open, cannot be shut.

Last night, they announced the "TOP 40" performers in three categories: Monologue, Improv, and Commercial. I made top 40 in both Commercial and Improv (God is so GOOD)! Tonight, is like the AMTC's version of the "Oscars", as we find out who will win "Best Overall Actor, Singer, Dancer, Monologue, Commercial, etc...all the categories.

This has been a tremendous week, the blessings have been abundant, and now we just pray for more and more of God's favor. THANKS TO ALL OF MY SPONSORS WHO HELP GET ME HERE---COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOU!!!! I will update you all tonight on what happens. This may be a huge step toward realizing a life long dream.

FILLED WITH EXCITEMENT AS MY TIME NEARS

Hey Family:

I am up in the wee hours of the night practicing my lines and scripts. For some of them you have to draw from inside to bring out real true emotion. After working on this for the better part of the night, I just began to smile as I saw my future success flash right through my head. In other words, I can see it as clear as day. IT IS GOING TO HAPPEN! Sometimes you just know when you are meant to do something, and it just feel so right. I thank the Lord right now, for all the trials, tough times, and setbacks that simply positioned me for greatness today. Be sure to follow my trek to the top on the "AMTC CENTRAL" page!

Athletic Revelation: Coaching at the Next Level

Posted at 01:54 AM on December 07, 2009

Hey Family,

I was watching the UK basketball game and man--they look tough. My Cards will definitely have there work cut out for them.

I was thinking about that, and the Football team came to mind. This has really been a tough time to be in the Cardinal Football family. As a former player, you just wish you could do something. I had given them a pre-game speech (and they WON ;0) , and have left a few written letters in lockers to motivate them and encourage them through the adversity,    but I just hate to watch us not be a part of the National Scene like we worked so hard to get to over the last 10 years. The empty stands and upset fans reminded me of 1997 and the 1-10 year. Short of putting on the pads and playing myself (which, if they allowed me to do--I would-and could-still play ;0), I began to think of another way I can help the program. Then it hit me. COACHING. I have been coaching high school football here in Louisville for the last five years. But now I am ready to take it to the next level, as Louisville's Running Back's coach. I am more than qualified for this position and I plan to pursue it. But everything takes time, and we must see who our next coach will be and what his needs are. However I have been where we are before, and turning around that 1-10 team and becoming winners again felt great. It will take a special staff to start the winning ways again, and I plan to be a part of it, should it be the Lord's will.
